Playing them at the worst possible time then!
We also don’t do well in the third match in a week judging by previous results this season.
It’s a long journey so let’s hope we make the journey worthwhile.
New owner, new manager, EFL ban on buying players lifted, just beaten Blackburn and Bournemouth in their last two games.
This is Hull this week, and we play them on Saturday, in what is the longest trip of the season for the team and the Jack Army faithful.
We’ll be without Flynn Downes after his red card on Tuesday night against QPR but Olivier Ntcham will be back and outcast Jay Fulton could start.
It was a hard fought draw there and the Hull match will be our third game in a week as we try and catch up on our games in hand, whilst the Tigers have had a week’s break between games.
The reverse fixture was a 0-0 draw last September, where the Swans were left frustrated and still waiting for their first home win of the season, with both teams on 5 points after 6 games and 20th and 21st in the table respectively.
Not much has changed since then with Hull in 19th spot on 29 points and Swans 17th on 32 points but with 2 games in hand.
Playing them at the worst possible time then!
We also don’t do well in the third match in a week judging by previous results this season.

FT: Hull 2- Swans 0
Oh dear here we go again, slow, sluggish start, a wide open defence and punished, two goals down in 17 minutes against a team who find it hard to score (just like us) and below us in the table. We are so vulnerable in defence sometimes.
Better second half, hit the post twice, goal ruled out offside, but again the ‘third match in a week’ slump and another defeat.
65% possession for your team means absolutely nothing Russell Martin, it’s goals and results that count!
Another weak first half display where players playing out of position are exposed.
Let’s be honest it was a shambles. What do you expect when you have a centre-back playing as wing-back, a full-back playing as centre-back, and a defensive midfielder playing as an attacking midfielder.
We missed the suspended Downes, thankfully he’ll be back for Luton on Tuesday.
Second half was better but we couldn’t score as Hull sat back on their lead and thwarted every move. Paterson’s link play with Piroe is sorely missed and the goals have dried up.
Here we are boys, first half as bad as it gets, schoolboy tactics, formation, and defending.
Where is this man leading us?

It’s got to be asked, where are we going with this manager?
When a newly promoted side, below you in the table, that’s struggled all season to score goals, slices through your defence like butter, not once but twice in the first 17 minutes, then it’s time to start worrying.
From Wembley play-off finalists to relegation chumps in half a season, dumping nine players along the way, that got you one win away from the PL is suicidal.
