    What is the point?

Let me make this clear, I'm not supporting Boris Johnson and I think that he should resign. However, what is the point in the Met. Police inquiry as well as the Sue Gray inquiry. To my mind it's a waste of time and money. Time that should be used solving the major problems that we face and not going on and on about tea and cakes which happened months and years ago. If Boris is guilty of these indiscretions, which he is on some but probably not all, then what will happen? The punishments for these indiscretions are fines. They will not go to court. To be honest Labour have made it easier for Boris to try and get out of some of the accusations by insisting on a police inquiry as it's muddying the process. We now have certain events not being revealed in the Sue Gray report, when ever this will be released, as they are now part of the police inquiry.

I'd have thought that by now most people have decided if he should stay or go so why not get it sorted out now?

I made this point the day it was announced the Met were going to undertake a review. I suggested maybe they should consider if their resources were better used fighting the appalling knife crime levels and attacks of women in their area.

Was surprised it didn’t get a response either negative or supportive but hey ho.

Nothing has changed since the 1970's Yes, Prime Minister. Sir Humphrey would be creaming his trousers over this! For far too long we have seen the spectacle of self serving politicians being protected by a class of self serving civil (?) service with the reward of a gong and a peerage when they retire. The whole system is feudal and servile. We deserve better

‘We deserve better’, yes indeed, so do we Albion fans!
