We need an immediate "like for like" replacement for Wood. Tick box.

We need a bit more quality in midfield and find a player who can score goals. Tick box.

By all accounts we have two good players in and still have £5 million left to send to the Dry Powder Room.

And PLEASE do not tell me SD has not sanctioned these deals.

Pace, despite the constant sniping and criticism seems more than capable and willing to put his arse on a boat, train or plane and get these deals over the line.

    What's not to like?
Whilst I normally agree with you BT, I don’t agree about “like for like” with Wood. I think we need to move on from that style of play to having pace up front to trouble centre backs. I would prefer another Cornet type player who has the pace to run at defenders, turn them, make life uncomfortable.

A high percentage of times, Pope kicks long, the forwards do not win the ball and we have immediately given back possession. In the case of Woods, he was often offside. Somehow we have to be able to play it through the middle to have more possession and, hopefully, create more chances.

Or not get these deals over the line, as the case may be.

It's Dyche who is trapped in a time bubble not me Swissclaret. I said we need "like for like" because that is the only way Dyche wants to play.

Barnes is fit and ready, so God help EPL centre backs with these two bashing them to bits!

Ok. Take your point BT. Then we need someone else in charge with a different vision.

There seems to be a growing number of Burnley fans who share your point of view mon ami.

Hindsight not required BT, I've been pointing out on here for months now that Pace is a potless charlatan, and last week I commented on the fact that he seemed to have sucked you in and blown you out in bubbles. The Zagreb fiasco has proved one of us right, and it ain't you. Sometimes mon ami, one just has to hold one's hand up, embarrassing though it may be.

It appears the local Ultras have threatened, intimated and "persuaded" the selling club to desist and politely asked the player and his family to remain in Zagreb.

A Mormon from Salt Lake City might be unaware that such things can actually happen in 2022, but then again FSU countries have been known to blow jetliners out of the sky, if they are not too fond of what's going on.

Exactly Swiss- we have needed a new vision for a few seasons!
Everyone else has moved on, and regardless of the budget available the fare "served up" wouldn't have changed

I love Burnley Football Club but some of the current goings-on really baffle me.

We are sleepwalking into the Championship and the hierarchy really do not seem to give a flying f*ck.

No idea if it's true or not, but my youngest lad rang to say the Dutchman has failed his medical.
