    Have to say, my respect for him has gone up significantly after hearing he turned down Everton to stay at Derby.

    Nobody would have blamed him for going back to his boyhood club, or even moving to a prem club.

    I think it's because the granny he's shagging in Derby can't travel more than a few miles from her sheltered accommodation.

    Suppose Lampard did the same type of move but was probably too soon for him as a manager with too much expectation when he went to Chelsea. Rooney has done a decent job at Derby to be fair, although ironically it looks like Frank Jr is going to get the Everton gig.
