PL 21/22 - Table after fixtures of 29/1/22.

Please check (and, errr, let me know, like!) for any errors and/or omissions.

    Table is in format:- poster/previous total/weekly score/new total/status.

    Cherrypie7 / 201 / 3 / 204 / Strike 1
    Orgoner / 189 / 9 / 198 / Active
    Ozleeds / 192 / 6 / 198 / Active
    Dalek_Sec / 180 / 9 / 189 / Active
    Hgatenasty / 180 / 3 / 183 / Active
    Sniffer999 / 171 / 3 / 174 / Active
    Belper69Ram / 159 / 3 / 162 / Active
    CalverleyBoy / 159 / 3 / 162 / Active
    MORRIM / 159 / 0 / 159 / Active
    Lufcjohn88 / 156 / 0 / 156 / Active
    Silentman / 144 / 3 / 147 / Active
    Deklufc / 141 / 3 / 144 / Strike 1
    Homer / 141 / 3 / 144 / Permanent
    Whitestomper45 / 141 / 3 / 144 / Strike 1
    Tichi1 / 123 / 3 / 126 / Active
    Hopelesslyoptimistic / 111 / 6 / 117 / Active
    Howie / 96 / 6 / 102 / Permanent
    Monaco_Totty / 92 / 0 / 92 / Active
    Johnny_Default / 60 / 3 / 63 / Permanent
    Yeboah01 / 34 / 0 / 34 / Dormant
    Joellufcprice / 22 / 0 / 22 / Dormant
    Billyni / 19 / 0 / 19 / Dormant

All bar one of the games were cagey affairs, at least in terms of scoring, but could any of you be bothered to do your due diligence without "proper" football going on at the same time? Mostly not it seems...

... as just nine points were needed to get a share of the weekly top spot. Seemingly ever-present Dalek_Sec (ExxO) and Orgoner (ExxO) both put in very similar efforts, with the 1-0 home victory at The Riverside being the cornerstone of their comparative success. Smoggy rather than foggy thinking?

Hopelesslyoptimistic (OxOx) and Ozleeds (OOxx) scored six points thanks to a second correct outcome to go with a 'Boro home win. Better than the rest of you numpties!

CherryPie7 took a week off (hopefully nothing sinister!?) and, though he did score three points via Johnny_Default's draw at Colchester, his previous week's lead has been trimmed by the same amount. He is now six points ahead of Ozleeds and Orgoner, followed by Dalek, who's stealthily creeping up the table after an uncharacteristically (for him) poor start to the season.

There was one draw, so Johnny_Default is now on sixty-three points and any Strike 1, Strike 2 or Strike 3 posters would've scored three, two or one point for their total lack of effort.

    The results

    (C) 'Boro v Coventry (1-0)
    (L1) Wycombe v MK Dons (0-1)
    (L2) Colchester v Swindon (1-1)
    (L2) Tranmere v Forest Green (0-4)

The next fixtures are out as a separate thread.

    All the best! Stay safe!

Father (91 in 3 weeks) admitted to hospital with pneumonia. Stressed me, as I cannot get down to Perth, Western Australia. West Australian borders are still closed. 14 days hard quarantine until Feb 5th. Then 7 days quarantine all on travelers expense. Then on Friday, had work related stresses. I completely forgot.

Sorry to hear that - I hope everything works out for you and that your dad gets better.

Completely meaningless in the scheme of things, but you did as well as most of the active posters on here anyway.
