    On this occasion you did them a big favour Griff.

    They have a track record of not tolerating criticism and your intervention clearly gave them the ideal opportunity to lock a thread which was doing exactly that.

    Why did they not just block the offending poster or remove the relevant posts? Why lock the entire thread?

    Let's hope they can develop thicker skins prior to seeking election to CUOSC.

    Having already seen one poster removed from this site by Digital Sports Group due to an accusation of libel (any news of a court case pending?) there must be a fair chance that the complainant will resort to similar tactics in future if the criticism on here gets a little hot for his liking.

    If you think about it there is no need for Griff to even post on there as he can post what he likes on here and anyone can read it. He either goes on there just to stir trouble or to get attention. And the attention seeking does not work as it does not lead to new users coming over here

    However, as I’ve been keen to point out in the recent past, there’s no reason why folk can’t post on both boards, as I’ve been keen to demonstrate, or indeed on other football message boards. If I stayed here I’d be a hypocrite. Wouldn’t I?
