Unita Fortior and the moderators from the other place

Let's examine the credibility of the moderators from the other place without making any case for Barry.

Barry had done plenty to deserve a life ban on numerous occasions. But clearly one or two moderators liked him, so nothing happened. Then, several months after Barry's last sin his account was terminated, supposedly by a software glitch. That's poor, even the Prime Minister can do better than that. No moderator took responsibility for having deleted the account and no moderator revealed who had done it, so they are all guilty of either doing it or taking part in the cover up. Barry was prevented from re-signing up, or maybe such prevention was another software glitch. All questions to the moderators on this subject were at least ignored or the identity of the person was cited as reason for not addressing the matter or the resident buffoon made pathetic humour of it all. Some people who asked questions were banned and their questions deleted.

Furthermore, these moderators have ignored all advice about establishing a robust board and we often see the outcome of such arrogance.

If this is the beginning of the moderators from the other place campaining for eventual power at CUOSC beware of such a possibility.

We need assurances from these moderators that at no time will they ever be candidates for positions on the board of CUOSC, since they have neither the necessary character nor the plain common sense.

If they gain enough sycophant members from the other place via Unita Fortia then it will be one inept and self-serving regime replaced by another one.

A dozen folk, including a clutch of moderators from the other Carlisle board, recently set up a group called Unita Fortior with the stated intent of making the CUFC Trust more representative by increasing membership from the outside. The Trust (Called CUOSC) have 400 members though only 40 or so of them ever vote. They have a seat on both the Club BoD and the Holdings Board and those representatives are seen as being too pally with the owners. That’s it in short.

Barry is a true Carlisle supporter and I don’t think he’ll mind me saying that he has right wing views and doesn’t mind expressing them. He also has ideas for improving the Club though not everyone likes them. At least he has ideas though. He was binned from the other board and all his post deleted BY THE MODS. They later blamed this on a software glitch and have gone very quiet on the whole thing. He also posted here but one of his posts caused a complaint to be raised and he was binned by Digital Sports Group.

Unita Fortior is a name given to an effort to substantially increase membership of Carlisle United Official Supporters Club and thus eventually overthrow the current board of CUOSC. It is a concept of the moderators of thecumbrians.net which is the other unofficial CUFC messageboard. CUOSC is detested by the overwhelming majority of CUFC supporters because it never has any initiatives to raise money and it is very secretive, even its board is secretive to its members. It owns 25.4% of Carlisle United Holdings which holds 93% of Carlisle United Football Club 1921 Limited. There is a representative of CUOSC on the Holdings board and another one on the 1921 board. It is clear that despite the totally inept running of the club neither CUOSC representative has made any 'waves' against such poor ownership / management.

We’ll, I finally got it out of them (over there) that they’re in talks to sell or transfer their board to someone, though whether it’ll be fixed by then is another story…..

I wonder why they are disposing of it? A cynic may suggest that they have plans to become important in some other organisation where their ethics and formidable competence could be more effectively used.
