Unita Fortior will ensure that a new board of CUOSC is no better than now.

We know that the Unita Fortior initiators are no more ethical and no more open to questions than the people who are currently on the board of CUOSC. Yet it is clear that these people and their sycophants will take over by actually being democratically elected.

The proof of their ethics is the farce that occurred when Barry's account was not only deleted but all of his posts were deleted by "software glitch". Presumably his attemps to re-sign up were all not accepted by a similar software glitch. Subsequent questions were dealt with in a contemptuous manner. All kinds of crude deflection tactics were used, such as but not limited to, making a point of questioning the identity of the inquisitor, asking for a reason why the question was being asked [bizarre] and using childish scorn. Some questions on this subject were deleted by the moderators and also the accounts of those who asked questions were deleted.

The eventually enlarged membership of CUOSC should be careful regarding its voting, should not be so sycophantic and should think for itself. The planned 'democratic coup' will result in a new board of CUOSC that will be a breath of fresh shit.

As an outsider but pretty much up to date with what happened to Barry I don't understand why his banning continually gets brought back up? I suspect that those who run things 'over there' got rid of him and closed ranks but I'm not sure why,was he a trouble maker or asked questions that they didn't like asked or summat? How come things haven't moved on now knowing that the people who run the forum can't be trusted and leave it at that? People get banned all the time so how come it continually gets mentioned?

Let's be clear about what is already beginning to happen, storm clouds gathering over CUOSC, shortly to be followed by the phoney war with slight disagreements between the two sides leading to a definitive split of CUOSC into two opposing factions, possibly three opposing factions consisting of the folk supporting the current CUOSC board, those supporting the intiators of Unita Fortior and those who are of independent clear mind wanting neither the incumbents nor the initiators of Unita Fortior to be on the CUOSC board.

At the moment we can be somewhat amused by the ostensibly friendly manner in which the key members of the current CUOSC board and the initiators of Unita Fortior are behaving with regard to each other.

The obvious war will be a bit of a grind because I believe that individual CUOSC board members are elected to serve a term of 3 years, then their board membership is subjected to an election process. They were not all elected at the same time, so some may be up for re-election in the current year, some next year and some the year after that. So even if they all fail to get re-elected that process will take 3 years. Of course CUOSC's board and their keenest supporters consist of several solicitors and accountants so you can be sure that they know the rules that can be used to favour the current CUOSC board.
