    Swansea v Bristol City

Its the Wurzels up next at the Swansea.com Stadium on Sunday lunchtime. Both teams form not too clever at the moment, at least Bristol’s latest match was a home win against Reading.
Martin keeps on playing the tired card about his players, but now he has a smaller than ever squad with ten players moved out and only five in then the situation is exacerbated.
I always remember Burnley when they got promoted, they had a small squad and had a run in the Cup, but the number of games didn’t seem to affect them, they kept on picking the same players.
We badly need a win to eradicate that embarrassing Stoke defeat last Tuesday.
Hopefully Martin will rally the troops and we’ll regroup and come back stronger.

Boys, the players owe us one after that humiliating defeat on Tuesday night.
Three players ruled out, Bennett serves a one match suspension, Naughton’s thigh injury continues and Ogbeta is still out with a hamstring injury carried over from Shrewsbury.

Martin now says the players are not fit enough to play three games in a week, with two thirds of the season gone!
Why are they not fit enough with dedicated fitness coaches employed at the club?
He suggests some do not have the physical attributes to play his style of football and next season will be different.
This suggests that there will be a big clear out at the end of the season. Hang on, we’ve just seen ten players moved out in the transfer window, there’ll be nobody left by the time he finishes.
Right now he needs to stop playing players out of position and play to their strengths, not enforce a system that the players are not comfortable with.

Martin is stubborn and it’s my way or the highway. I’m afraid it will be the highway for him.

He has some support amongst the players. Naughton, Bennett and Smith are all buddies and have all played with him before.

Look, as Swans fans we all want him to succeed but he has to be more flexible with his formation and tactics and stop playing players out of position.

I can’t predict this one, as neither team is any good.
They are bringing 2k fans with them so there should be a good atmosphere at least.
We’ve only scored two goals in the last 6 games and have a defence like a sieve.
It’s not a happy time for Swans fans, with Martin’s inflexible system bringing us down.
If we lose this game there will be a lot of unrest.
