Having given him the transfer window and actually seen a turnaround in results, you assume something has changed with their shortlist behind the scenes...Adams maybe or perhaps Jack Ross is willing to take it if Aberdeen moving for Goodwin?
Another manager gone. Step in Derek Adams?

Also wonder what Lamie makes of it...not a lot, probably.
Mark McGhee being mentioned for vacancy hope he gets it
Surely not! I doubt he'll ever have another real job again.
'Dee clearly realise they can offer J Ross more money than Aberdeen would if Cormack REALLY wants Goodwin. It's a 250K compen deal for Midden, and SS's won't offer Goodwin mega-money given that scenario. Wise move by Dens Board. Then again ... what do I know ?!
McGhee confirmed as Dundee manager, no doubt his pal Strachan had a hand in that. Hell mend Dundee going for that fat, pompous bag of hot air.
The best thing is he still needs to serve his touchline ban that he got whilst with us five years ago for his meltdown at Pittodrie in a 7-2 loss.
Oh it's magnificent. Fantastic stuff. Days like this are why we love Scottish football.
I actually reckon, huge comedic value aside, he'll keep them up. But alienating your fans in such a manner is not a good idea.
Dundee’s visit on the 5th March will be interesting, ironically enough his last game with us was that 5-1 thumping by Dundee in February 2017 when there were protests outside the PO’D at half time.
He’s an absolute dinosaur of a manager who has dined out on finishing 3rd with us in 07/08 ever since. He’s achieved nothing of note in management since that season. Mind you that’s nothing compared to his speech about how missing out on promotion with Wolves twenty years previously was the reason he “was managing Motherwell and not Liverpool” in 2016 that he came out with during a pre-match press conference during his second spell.
He also turned round a car crash Baraclough side and got us to fifth (!) in 2016. Clearly the wheels fell off the season after but if all Dundee want is someone to organize and motivate what they have till summer, he'll be fine.
The question is whether he's literally the only guy who could do that, there really isn't someone else out there who could manage while not pissing off 90% of the fanbase? And I've never understood why the majority of clubs do the interim manager thing. It's fine if you're Man Utd say, an elite level club who realistically are picking from just a handful of candidates in the world - the notion there's not a suitable manager for Dundee right now is absurd.
