Queen Nicola has been strangely quiet about Putin’s sabre rattling on the borders of Ukraine including recognising the independence of the two breakaway eastern Ukraine states which have been condemned by leaders of countries throughout the Western world.
She is usually quick to jump on the bandwagon when there is an opportunity to get herself noticed.
Perhaps Queen Nicola is keeping quiet to protect her fellow Green Party power sharing leader Patrick Harvie who wants to shut down the North Sea oil and gas fields resulting in the U.K. becoming dependent on ‘Mother Russia’ for our oil and gas.

At least one of his scientific ‘experts’ would happily close down the whole of the U.K. until there were no positive Covid-19 cases reported on a daily basis.
