    I agree Carroll at least showed heart and a willingness to want to close down......and he kept running...not the quickest but made the effort....Not many others out there you could say that about.....

    He did what he had to do, don't get me wrong. I just think the games moved on from having a big lump up top and players playing off him. It's too easy to predict and the lack of movement from a 33 year old, slow forward is making it easy for defences. He's not scored yet, nor has he been pivotal in us scoring a goal...not all his fault but I just don't like the way we setup our front three.

    I would much prefer a fast attacking midfield runner with options left and right as compared to out current set up but quite frankly, we presently lack the man power to have runners......it was an improvement last night but compared to very poor performances recently...that is not saying much....
    Fair play baggiematt for doing the trip....great away crowd again.....such a shame...
