    Toon second only to Liverpool

That is for points scored last five games. Liverpool 15 points, Toon 13 points next best Citeh on 10.

Thanks very much, Eddie Howe and the squad.

    February results:

    Tuesday 8th - Everton (H) - W 3-1
    Sunday 13th - Aston Villa (H) - W 1-0
    Saturday 19th - West Ham (A) - D 1-1
    Saturday 26th - Brentford (A) - W 2-0

Add the 1-0 away at Leeds in January, it’s not too shabby. Without wanting to invite the traditional curse, Sir Eddie must be in with a shout for manager of the month.

Aye, Pat, incredible achievement...especially when we were told that was Bruce was doing amounted to a 'fantastic job'.

Well, CabbageHeed has proved himself again and again. Look at the fantastic job he's doing at the Baggies.

To be honest, I wouldn't even wish him on a Muckem return. On second thoughts there have to be exceptions so they can have him back.

Consider that the most of the squad are nowhere near the quality of Liverpool's.

The run has been immense. And has given us a real chance of survival when all looked lost. Dyche can't be too far behind because Burnley's form (over fewer games) isn't too shabby either.

Unbeaten in 7 with 4 wins. If you look at where we are in the table now, it shows how much trouble we were in before this run started.
We are not out of the woods yet but have given ourselves a hell of a chance of avoiding the drop.

We really need to pick up wins against Brighton, Everton and Saints as well.

Anything we can nick from Chelski and Spuds would be a bonus.

    March fixtures at a glance:

    Saturday 05 - Brighton (H)
    Thursday 10 - Southampton (A)
    Sunday 13 - Chelsea (A)
    Thursday 17 - Everton (A)
    Sunday 20 Crystal Palace (H)*

    *subject to FA Cup

Quite an intense couple of weeks, then there must be an international break until the Spurs game in early April.

We need ASM back for that itinerary.

And Wood to start scoring. Several of those teams are easily capable of scoring three goals in a match

I wouldn’t be too unhappy if Palace progress in the cup to give us a decent mini-break between the Everton & Tottenham matches. They’ve got Stoke at home on Tuesday evening in the 5th round, so have a decent chance of making it through.
