Thread: Next up - Hibs in the cup

Avoid losing? GA will (not especially rightly) get a pass on his team today because of the red card, if we don't beat St Johnstone to get back on track the atmosphere will be toxic.

Exactly, and there is absolutely nothing to suggest that we will go up to Perth next Saturday and win. We salvaged a point up there in August thanks to (who else?) Tony Watt, the source of the vast majority of our points in the first half of the season. It’s no coincidence whatsoever that we have not managed a single league win since he left.

Our efforts against coronavirus-hit Dundee and half of Hibs reserves suggest the only way St Johnstone won't get at least a point is if they think the game is at Fir Park or has been moved to Sunday.

It’s difficult to argue with that. The reality is that this group of players and manager just cannot be trusted or relied upon to deliver any sort of positive performance or result in any given game. Apart from anything else you just don’t know what team will be picked to start the game!

The worst part is we can't even afford to 'get rid' of Alexander.
