Interesting observation by Gary Kasparov the chess Grand-master on Vladimir Putin.
He never played chess but he does play poker.
    Explains a lot......about bluffing!

The Kerch bridge from Russia to Crimea has been hit. Apparently a major supply route from Russia.
This is Putin's big project and was opened in 2018.

Ukraine not holding back. Lots of rain recently has slowed their advance but dry conditions in week a head could see some gains continue.

The diagram below actually shows the twenty ways that the kerch bridge would be protected and that it would be impossible to hit. This was only three months ago that the Kremlin made this claim...

Must be so tempting for Ukraine to use their Western weapons on targets in Russia itself but that would play right into Putin's hands. At the moment the West must remain firmly behind Ukraine and continue the momentum that has seen them force Russian forces back. These regained areas need to be secured asap before winter sets in. Russian forces are poorly led and equipped and this won't change for a while so UKraine needs to press it's current advantage. Like any bully Putin will continue to lash out so expect more such indiscriminately launched missile attacks as he clearly does not care about Western opinion on such tactics -but it will all catch up with him in the end, though it will likely only be through domestic pressures on his failures than anything else.
