They'll talk to DSA without any problem.

Because DSA hand over their member clubs' money to them without question and in return one of them gets to be SLO with free entry to all games home and away and, until recently, another got free entry to all games home and away but not sure if the person now in that position gets the same bribe - completely immoral on both sides.

Only members of a Dundee Supporters Club can be a member of the DSA whereas any Dundee supporter can become a member of the Dee4life Trust.

According to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) website the highest number of Dee4life Trust members was in 2012 when they had 4,390 members. Members at that time paid a ‘one off’ fee of £1 to join.

A response to the open letter to the club is in the Online Dundee Courier.

Not true - nobody can be a 'member of DSA' as DSA is an association of supporters' clubs.

Individuals are members of supporters' clubs and the clubs, in turn, are affiliated to DSA.

    Your explanation is correct.
However the past Chairman of the DSA used to say that the DSA had over 1,000 members which is technically not correct.
It has as far as I am aware 36 member supporters clubs including a Dundee supporters club in Gozo Malta and a Kalispell Cammy Kerr Dark Blues supporters club in America.

He used to say that and often used it as a bargaining chip in meetings with John Nelms when trying to curry favour (keep his freebies) until I pointed out just how wrong he was.

I can confirm Peter Hitchens Dark Blues and Section 18 1/2 dark blues are not affiliated to the DSA.

Be surprised if they had been. 😄
