I haven't read the entrenched rights for a while, but I think they were designed to stop anyone groundsharing at Tannadice. The point in this instance is that I don't think there is anything in those rights to stop fps buying then selling Dens. And if Dens is bulldozed for housing, the right to veto a stadium move becomes redundant. Its either move or have nowhere to play.

I am happy to bow to your superior knowledge of those A share rights tho Douglas

Interestingly since Thorntons stopped being the Dundee Football Club Limited Solicitors the list of entrenched rights of the A shares are no longer listed every time a notice of shares being issued is lodged at Companies House.
Hi Islay. Top of page 2 section 6.7.5 says or Dens Park becomes unavailable. Ii have only quoted a bit of the section. Not good with legal terminology but I can't see how the A shares can have any protective rights if the ground ceases to exist.
Be very happy to be proved wrong.

Tend to agree Grantzer, but I am no expert.

Sadly I am also not a legal expert. When these entrenched rights were drawn up the last thing that Dundee supporters would have expected is that the Dundee FC directors would give the go ahead for Dens Park to be flattened resulting in the club being homeless.
I still think that the purchase amd sale of Dens Park is threat to force the Dundee City Councillors hand into granting full planning permission for the new stadium development at Campy Nou irrespective of all the access and particularly exit problems after the end of the game.
Apparently at the pre application meeting in the DIA in September 2017 John Nelms stated that they expected most people to travel to Dundee FC home games at Campy Nou by public transport.
John Nelms had obviously not done his homework on this subject as unlike Dens Park the area beside Campy Nou is not well served by public transport.

Pretty sure there will be no stadium and if there is one circa 2030 it will not benefit DFC greatly.

If we got someone who was willing to build 1 new stand and redevelop the main I'd be right behind him

What Linda, Most Respected and his staff have allowed Dens to become is pretty unforgivable in my book.

We will end up at tannadice temporarily or more likely permanent.
