He reckons a deal for the ground has already been agreed between MM and MA - no, not our very own loveable Dutch version...the rather wealthier one - and that a deal as a whole will be completed after CK’s preferred bidder status expires at the weekend.
He also suggested that the Morris v Gibson row had little to do with football and much more to do with other business activities.
Might all just be rumour, but he’s usually a good source. Just saying.
That wouldn't surprise me at all.

... won't happen unless I win the Eurojackpot this evening. €85M gross, €60M after betting tax.

Thats an interesting notion, paying tax on gambling profits. One that we should introduce in this country on winnings i excess of say 10k pa. No relief for losses. May raise a bit of revenue and have a profound social impact on a nation seemingy besotted with betting

David Clowes...Clowes Developments...the latest to be linked with purchase of the ground. Said to be a ‘loyal fan’ worth £250m.
    Anyone?

The CD link emerged a few days ago and was quickly denied by the company.

It’s still a worry with no ground and no takeover as yet. Looks like it’s all coming together but how many times as that happened in the last 7 months, I’m not really confident it’s a done deal yet!

How about Car Park. You soon won't need a proper ground.

Wrong place...wrong time, Gunteryy old love. If there’s one set of fans that are in no position to take the wotsit out of us it’s you lot in Barnsley. They took 21 points of us and we still finished above you with a +32 better GD!
