I hope there aren't too many Derby fans thinking that an immediate return is a shoe in! They should look at Sunderland,Ipswich,Portsmouth and Wednesday because it looks as though they have become part of 'that' group!

Plus Derby County can still get a 15 point deduction for next season in league one, if the take over is not sorted.

Even though Donny made a great come back at Shrewsbury today, they are effectively relegated as they are -17 behind Gillingham with both having two games to play, so they would need to win their last 2 against Burton and Oxford and Gillingham to lose against Portsmouth and us, making up 17 goals as well. although they could get past Fleetwood, they would effectively only need a point from their last 3 games as there goal difference is currently 30 goals better than Doncaster’s.
Not going to happen that one.

The funding they showed to the EFL was only enough to take them to May 31st. Lots of the players were free or loans and maybe only on 1 year contracts but will still need paying til end of June?
