    Dundee Football Club make a profit in their annual accounts for the year ending 31st

    It has been announced on the club website that Dundee Football Club has made a profit of £74,279 in their financial year ending 31st May 2021. https://dundeefc.co.uk/news/club-rep...ofit-accounts/
    This is an amazing result as Aberdeen Football Club made a loss of £2,292,000 in their financial year ending 30th June 2021 despite receiving £2,977,000 from player sales. Aberdeen Football Club’s operating loss in their financial year ending 30th June 2021 was £5,193,000.

    Agree. A tremendous result. Maybe the insurance policy is distorting the figures?

    The AGM will probably be held next January/February. Due to the pandemic last two AGMS have been held by Zoom but I prefer meeting people in person at the AGM.

    It is stated in the annual accounts that the directors expect to make losses in 2022 and 2023.
    The number of staff was reduced from 59 to 43 which possibly resulted in us remaining in profit.
    Aberdeen FC do not appear to have a business interruption insurance policy.
