Indeed BT, that's why my post began with the word 'If'.

What is now abundantly clear is the the reasons Pace gave for sacking Dyche are 100% pure, unadulterated BS. Southampton up tonight, Wolves in three days time and no new manager in sight. What the real reason for removing Dyche from his post was, we can only speculate, but it was obviously not to give a new manager the last few games of the season to keep us up.

It's becoming increasingly obvious sinkov Pace is flying by the seat of his pants. Quite clearly he has not planned ahead.

With the names being put forward, Bilic, Wilder, et al, or even keeping the temporary management crew, he is clearly making decisions based on each choice as it comes up.

Where's Mike when you need him?

It sounds like they did not have any choice but to that route as Dyche had lost them. I am sure that things will have been said face to face, to no effect.

Sean Dyche has not been sacked. he merely returned to his home planet Gallifrey to regenerate and it took a little longer than expected because he is the seven****th reincarnation of Dr Who and he no longer had all his own hair. He has now reappeared in the form of Mike Jackson and all is good again.

I'd forgotten Jackson was a half decent player for the Nobenders.

I'm impressed with his approach and his honesty.

If we manage to pull off a miracle and stay in the EPL, is Pace brave enough to give him say a one year contract to manage the first team?

    .

I've been given information from a very reliable source,....that Dyche was secretly talking to little green men, apparently, from the planet Oboridon, and that they were overheard discussing how they'd abducted the team and replaced them with Flackinain Snozzleboogers - this information was immediately passed to Pace who arranged their rescue through Mormon Special forces - It seems the that the late arrivals Weghorst and Corneto are slow to return to the team because the LDS gene database has yet to fully authenticate them as human, but are hopfeul to do so before the Wolves game.
Failing that, the imposters will be permitted to continue, but will be returned to a safe facility (somewhere in Utah) post match.
