    Like watching a different team

After a nervy start ,we seemed to grab the bull by the horns and in the end it could have ,and probably should have been a more decisive victory. It was pleasing to see more open free flowing football being played throughout the game( why couldn’t we do that before ?) The crowd also played their part throughout the game and we’ll need them again on Sunday. There appeared a new determination running through the side and was most welcome to watch. Am sure Wolves will be more difficult to overcome, but we’re at home, we have the bit between our teeth, and we’ll have gained a lot of confidence from last night.Another win and last nights will really mean something. Let’s do it.!!

A breath of fresh air is what it was. Getting the ball into the box, McNeil playing with freedom, Jay Rod roaming, Cork and Brownhill inspired.

How on earth did Weghorst hit the post and not the back of the net? Cornet was poor and that is perplexing because Jackson has released him from defensive duties, Taylor was magnificent and Roberts was splendid.

Keep this standard up, beat Wolves and take 4 points off Villa and the Easter miracle just repeated itself. Hallelujah!

    Connor Roberts
He [Mike Jackson] hasn't changed everything but has given us a bit more freedom to do what we want.
That "to do what we want" has unleashed them.

Great performance all round, Cornet seems out of sorts but like the whole team puts in a good shift, McNeil smiling and looked happy all game, Wolves will be tough but beatable the atmosphere on Sunday will be electric and a win will make survival a real possibility UTC.

Whatever Michael Jackson has done worked really well in this fixture. The speed of transition from back to front was so much quicker and yet the defensive unit remained tight for the most part barring Romeu's free headers and Che Adams shot. Plenty of chances created and if Weghorst hadn't been so shot shy and Cornet so dithery you might have had more goals - but it looked a lot better overall and bodes well for the run in.

Interesting that Jackson doesn't even know if he'll be in charge for the next game. I'd be wary about bringing in a new manager at this stage now you've got back a bit of momentum. Every game a cup final from here on in!

Superb all round performance.Could have been 4 or 5-0.Keep Jackson on until the end of the season and Ben Mee is making contributions from the sidelines.Nice to see the players smiling and enjoying their football but even better that we are enjoying their football UTC!!

It would be bonkers to change the Jackson entourage now. Let him have a do!

We couldn’t do it before because Dyche was setting the tactics and telling them how to play. They have not become different players overnight. They went out to win last night, not to lose as seemed to be the case with SD.

37% possession and hoping to “nick a goal” was the tactic.

Not going overboard but ut was a breayj of fresh air - the brand of football was much better. Both Yarks and Collins were tremendous. Whatever happens we need new furwards with a little pace. The forward players are just not good enough.

Could be just confidence with Cornet but Jayrod has been missing sitters now since January last year.Barnes too old and slow.Vidra could come good given game time.Weghorst wil come good.I think it is the midfield that needs strengthening with at least 2 signings.Cork good but too slow.Westwood out.Brownhill is not PL standard.Stephens non-starter.
