Charlton 2 Shrewsbury F.C. 0
A home win for Charlton after two home losses as Jayden Stockley and Chuks Aneke both score in the 2nd half with two headed goals.
There was a lengthy stoppage and this game was marred by racist/xenophobic abuse aimed at the Shrews' goalkeeper Marosi. This behaviour has been creeping into the North Lower this season and the club really needs to get a grip and ban the individuals concerned. Players and other fans should not be subjected to any form of abuse and discrimination or feel threatened; the individuals involved should also face criminal proceedings.
On the back of this win, Charlton now move up to 12th and face Ipswich away for their final game of the season Saturday 30th April at 12.30pm.
Charlton goals: Stockley 64, Aneke 86
