My opinion based on little information other then his international profile was arrogance.
So unimpressed by him.
However the other candidate was a non starter for me.
Since the result came in ..I have researched a bit more and I am correcting and adjusting my opinion on him.

Only realised he is not nor has ever been an MP in France and his own party are pretty none existent. Yet he has simply removed the two traditionalist French parties from this office they had dominated.
I stand corrected on my previous held views on him...
