Yes, he well deserves it. A good steady improving player. Could be a mainstay.

Makes sense - rediscovered his pre-Bruce form and at 30 should have a good couple of years left in him. No point in making whole sale changes for the sake of it and with a nod to FFP, so should suit all concerned.
