After 40 years I believe Rawmarsh Welfare have finally got round to releasing Archiemiller and Casper-64-Frank. The delay was due to a paperwork oversight when the club went out of business in 1982. PW has been alerted!

I can remember the manager at the time saying there are good players & great players unfortunately Frank & Archie are not one of them.

Midfielder Matt Butcher has left Accrington Stanley after rejecting the offer of an extended contract,

The 24-year-old joined Stanley from Bournemouth in August 2020 and scored six goals in 84 appearances in total in his time at the Wham Stadium.

Stanley have released Stephen Sama, Lewis Mansell, Ben Pleavin, Luke Stowe and Kevin Spinelli

Rovers will however support Okenabirhie in his recovery from a long-term achilles injury, with the striker recently having surgery on the issue.
