    All quiet

It's been an unusually quiet few days from the Fir Park media machine. Something afoot?

They've been getting a lot of stick on SM when pushing out their ridiculously upbeat messages when the reality is the club is in crisis on the field and cannae beat carpets.

I think that's where there's a real disconnect, less between the club and fans but within the club. The social media guys aren't Motherwell fans (at least afaik), they're just folk doing a job. They will have been given their targets at the start of the season, developed their plan and basically stick to it. They urgently need to become more flexible because ignoring the fan base to target the broader masses with #content is fine to an extent - it helped bring the Paddy Power deal for example - but continually enraging your core support by posting inane drivel every week is another matter.

Like 80% of the first team, they're already 'on the beach'.

That might well be shown around 5pm on Saturday.
