    Matchday Thread: Derby v Cardiff

So near and yet so far. If results go right on Sunday we will have failed to do the impossible by just four points. That's two decisions going for us not against us, two less pieces of brilliance from the opposition, blah blah. I'm proud of what our team of kids, cast offs and old crips have done this year and I hope they go out with a bang

    3-1

Despite our good home form, I think the steam will have finally run out. Nonetheless, an honourable 1-1 won't go amiss.

I suspect we’ll see one last hurrah...3-0. More importantly...you’ve often, for want of a better word, ‘compared’ our fortune/plight to that of Rangers (Glasgow version). After last night let’s hope you’re right...only it doesn’t take quite so long.

Went out with a predictable whimper, but thankfully the whole debacle of a season is over. Have to say I couldn't muster much enthusiasm at all and didn't go to a game all season. For me it was utterly pointless (no pun intended) and whilst I understand the UK has a history of brave pointless and ultimately futile gestures, watching a rag tag scratch team was not worth paying money for, especially when the outcome was always (despite those with more optimism than logic's claims) going to be relegation.

As for next season, well the pantomime continues and who knows what sort of team we will ahve, the fact it hasn't been sorted before the season end doesn't bode well.

Home form top 11, away form bottom 3. If the refs had had their way we'd have been in the national league by January. It is what it is.

    Come on Ewe Rams.
