    The first 2 confirmed going

Bradley Johnson and Joe rothwell have said their goodbyes.
I can't say I am surprised by either of them.
Rothwell didn't exactly cover himself in glory following the bournemouth transfer fiasco and neither did the supporters at the time.
In my opinion it was the start of our decline.
As for Johnson a proper pro,who time has caught up with him.
It showed in quite a few performances this season, that he just doesn't have the legs for this level anymore.

    Rothwell was crap imo.
Way too inconsistent. Decent in flashes but never a footballer. Head down, ran into trouble. Had no real vision or a calmness to his play. Pity, as he possessed a skill that could have been useful. Running with the ball from deep. Like most of our midfield, he didn't score enough, and lacked vision to create for others. Scored just 10 times in 4 seasons.
He had one short spell this season playing well. But it ended like our season back in Jan. After he didn't get his move, he sulked and never performed. We will not miss a person or player like that.
Johnson was at the end of his career when he turned up. I didn't mind him, but he was never anything other than methodical for us. Clearly a decent pro, but took advantage of being on easy street.
Was up to last summer, the highest paid player within the footballer club. That should tell you why we aren't going anywhere.
