Very boring reading all the linked players for click bait Not complaining though as were a better team now even if no one else signs.

Luiz looks 50/50 to leave and if an other midfielder arrives like Gallagher it would be 80/20. Same with Ings i guess if we sign a striker.
3 more players were apparently looking for.

    Bale is now being linked.

Bale can do one and so can Oxtail from pool. Something is happening but true to the Villa way, they are not saying, why would they. We must be the envy of the prem, nothing one day then a big name signs up which I think will happen before the preseason games begin. Oh and don't read the Burmingham mail, the worst rag i have ever read total BS, if we believed Ashley Preece, we would have signed 20 players by now and he is in the know, don't make me wet myself laughing. He still swears Jack is staying !

Not sure i want Philip's anyway. To injury prone but obviously i wouldn't be devastated if he joined us. Seems to be many good midfield options this summer so im confident we will get another player in the same caliber as Kamara.
Up front is a different matter and i haven't a clue who would be an upgrade on Watkins/Ings.

I feel we may get the Vampire on loan? And go with Watkins, Ings, Suerez & Archer? I also feel that if no more midfielders come in we will stay with SJM and Luiz

Suarez is a free agent so it wont be a loan. I would love it if he did come to vp but im not sure there would be room for Ings and Suarez especially with the possibility of getting our money back on ings with many teams keen on him.
Sometimes i feel Luiz has been given a raw deal having to play the holding role. However i cant lie i would rather Gallagher.

Luiz is a damn good player when he's playing in the right position, he's also a very good athlete - played around 60 games for club & country in one season due to the Olympics, rarely injured. If he wants away as per the paper talk then so be it, but a new contract and a good season for him would increase his sell on value significantly.

SG found a way to make the Ings/Watkins pairing work, Ings looked sharp once he got over his injury and you don't score 20 goals in the prem without being decent (as he did for Southampton). He's also a clever player off the ball and we need a squad, so keep him, loan Archer out in the c'ship until Jan and bring in an oven ready striker to compete with the two of them.

There’s a lot of chatter about Luiz heading to Italy, to Milan or Rome. I know that I’m in the minority here, but I would welcome him leaving. A good technical player, but I just don‘t think he fits, whatever position he plays. Lacks concentration, he always has, so we can’t blame his recent squeeze, Ms. Lehmann.

Carney is a weird one. Dortmund appears to be lining him up as a replacement for when Bell-end leaves. Young Judy feels that he’s ‘outa sight, outa mind’ with Mountgate, with the WC around the corner. I’d say he’s Bin-Dipper bound. He might hang on for another year, but Carney can wait, as he has a contract here till Oct 2023.

I’d like to see a striker, a bl00dy good one, to add to our current mob of Ollie, Ings, and Archer. Remember, 5 subs next season. I do fear Wes is ending his loan in Brazil (he’s still Sh1te, unfortunately), which may put the fux on an incoming striker .

So much can happen, surprises galore.
