Question for everyone - one is a ventriloquist and the other is the dummy. Which one is which?

I think all the pomp and circumstance needs to go and the Firm slimmed down. However, the monarchy does serve an important purpose. We have no written constitution and the three branches - the Monarchy, the Executive and the Judiciary. They provide checks and balances. The Monarchy still holds the Royal Prerogative (and has the loyalty of the armed forces). Whilst it has not been exercised for yonks, it could be. So if the Executive (Government) decided that Blowjob will be PM for life (like a Putin), the Monarch could step in and overrule the Executive. This would be supported by the Judiciary as constitutionally correct.

It does therefore protect us, in theory, from someone like Putin coming to absolute power.

    Sorry to be boring.

I know you mean well but Blow Job simply got Posh Bollox to prorogue parliament. It signalled the end of the Royal Prerogative because Posh Bollox flew up to Balmoral, lied through his teeth and called the end of a parliamentary session.

It should only happen when an election is called, but Blow Job invoked a drastic constitutional move to get his way on Brexit.

Brenda realises she might as well stay in one of her many castles and keep well away from the lying toerag.

To sum up parliament is either in session, prorogued or, under the terms of the Fixed-Term Parliament Act, dissolved.

God help us if either Johnson or Blair became President.

Come on BT, you want photographers put in jail, apolitical people are going to be banned for mentioning an Ex-Prime Minister who represented Labour for years, whilst feathering his own and his wife's nest. What next?

I'll tell you what's next mein Freund, a proletariat uprising the like of which has not previously been seen in the United Kingdom. Starting in Northern Ireland.

The Tories know it's coming, that's why they have made the right to protest illegal.

When the Sun turns against you it spells BIG TROUBLE.

I had to laugh...“Farting would have exerted more effort."

“Prince Charles read a speech that wasn’t his, written in words not his, made by somebody else & told every step to take…this is what Mummy Queen is proud of-that he can dress up & read aloud at 73?

    “The State of this Headline.”

You have to remember Iraq fired rockets,( I looked out at the eastern night sky and saw the first Scud rocked coming over, then I went inside my house. At that time we had to cover windows and any open outlets etc, with plastic covering ,who knows, maybe the rockets contained chemicals?? At least he fired 2 Scud rockets in the north and more in the centre area, maybe he tried to hit Jerusalem also, but missed that
city, of course. They did hit the suburbs of Tel-Aviv. Rooftop tiles were broken/scattered in a suburb of Tel-Aviv. But Britain and the French, stopped Israel's Air force from attacking Iraq.
There would have been too many aircraft, from different countries in the sky over Iraq. Plus maybe Israel fighting an Arab country??Would other Arab countries have joined Iraq?? 26 days of major combat operations, in which a combined force of troops from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and Poland invaded Iraq. Maybe Blair saw the danger ? Israel fighting other Arab or Muslim counties? At least the Major players ,Syria Egypt Jorden, Iraq and Turkey?
So Blair loves a war or simply Blair wants to keep the peace over the area called 'the Middle east?'

Blair lies every time he opens his mouth.

I'm starting to feel the security of "Israel" is under enormous threat from too many opposing sides.

You know how I feel about how the IDF treat the Palestinians and I wonder how much of this is giving the State of Israel bad karma.

On the other hand Balan I think you guys need to give Iran a good seeing too. Either meet them in Paris for diplomatic settlement, or failing that bomb the $hit out of Tehran.
