Hi sinkov, just thought that I would copy the bit about Ashington AFC and their increased attendance in the past season.
Also, they ended up with some silverware because they beat Benfield 4-1 in the Division One Cup Final played at South Shields in front of almost 900 fans. They got off to a great start, scoring after 34 seconds.

It has been a good season with just over 50% of their matches seeing at least 5 goals scored, in fact, 32 of the 42 competitive games have seen 4 or more goals scored. Season ticket bought for next season at the exorbitant cost of £50.
Add to that, a saving of at least £1000 in fuel alone, the added bonus of no VAR ---something to look forward to after 70 years going to the Turf. Football still lives outside of the PL.

Ashington AFC have been a real success story when it comes to building their fanbase, helped massively by their excellent use of social media. Even with attendances limited last season they still managed to average 206, but now with restrictions removed this season, the figure was more than doubled to 439, making them one of the best supported clubs in the Northern League. The biggest crowd at Woodhorn Lane was seen at their Northumberland Senior Cup game against Newcastle United U23s, 1,357.
