We go down and the 49rs don't go for the full take over - radz gamble has back fired - he wanted Bielsa to perform one miracle too many and its bit him on the arse or in this case his bank balance when we go down either tomorrow or against Brentford.

Question, what if a miracle occurs and BHA ends up getting stranded on the motorway and forfeits the game or the ref red cards 3 of them for incorrect kit or they park the bus for 89 miinutes and the goalies trips and falls over the goal line in stoppage time and we win?

Burnley loses both games and we end up in the prem? Do we keeop Marsch and just go for the least amount of points ever in the prem or just forfeit the season before it begins?

While I can never hope to match the genius of the 49s and the board I humbly submit what I will call the Marsch plan. This is a plan to rebuild Leeds like the Marshall plan rebuilt Europe. First we sell Raph, KP, Meslier and Dallas. We make sure we keep kiko, costa,Roberts, James, rodrigo, firpo and Bamford. Of course we make sure we keep Marsch and his staff.

Let drameh , strujik, gelhart, bate and cresswell leave for nominal amounts.

What a lineup. We will dominate any league. Bamford, rodrigo, Roberts, Harrison, Klich, costa, Aylin’s, Koch, Llorente, Firpo and kiko. We’ll have the same payroll as half the clubs but dominate the league.

There will be a whole lot of analysis after this, but in the end, its simple.

You cannot play a whole premierleague season without a CF.
or 3 central midfielders (when you play every game with 3) one of whom just came back from nearly 2 years out

If we by magic stayed up I just don't want to see Marsch in charge, i've seen nothing from this team other than a bunch of proffesional footballers with no idea what they're doing and a team that once fought till the last no matter the score give up once they've gone 1/2 down.

Humorous (to a point), but inaccurate as an analogy. The Marshall plan worked for real, it prevented Germany from sliding back into poverty and extremism in the way it did after WWI, it helped the nations of western Europe rebuild both their infrastructure and industrial heartlands that the allies had kicked the sh1t out of before, during and after the D-Day landings, and it helped to create a barrier (assisted it has to be said by the USA being the only nation with a nuclear arsenal for some years after the end of WWII) to the westward territorial ambitions of Stalin. So really quite a good plan and good outcomes (more or less!).

I suspect that rather than being able to "dominate the league" we would be making yet more records, and none of them favourable to the club, but it did make me smile, so thanks for that!

Thing is, if we do go down, who would wish to come in to replace Marsch, given the likely fire-sale environment they would inherit?

A club with a number of key players we couldn't afford to keep, and who in most cases wouldn't want to stay. An owner with no money to invest in order to rebuild (the parachute payments will be a drop in the ocean compared to what we would have to commit to a rebuild, and they only there for a limited time), part-owners who are about as likely to provide further investment as I am to become the next Pope, and a remaining squad of players who have shown whilst in the PL that without something extraordinary to get them performing, they just aren't PL material. Brave man (or woman?) who would take that on.

Marsch signed a 3-year contract and isn't going anywhere especially if we drop down and the 49ers take over. If he does get the sack that would be another masterstroke by mr Orta.

If we go down would like Corboran if Hudds don’t go up together with a taxi for Orta purely based on him messing up recruitment on and off the pitch this season.
