Brentford were on the beach for f uck sake and had 9 players but Burnley deserve to go down as they were at home and lost!
No disrespect but glad Burnley are coming into the championship as a nicer trip to their ground where you can sup a few pints at the cricket club in the upstairs bar rather than have the swill at yours. You need to keep the Yank though as next season you will then take the drop!

It’s probably just a stay of execution for Leeds.
It was Burnley’s turn to go down this season just like it was Albion’s 4 years ago after an 8 year stint.
Leeds SHOULD be capable of being a pretty safe Prem club given their fan base and catchment area but ownership is likely to be a constant weakness until they drop on a real mega owner.
Without a big spend this summer I see them nailed on for a bottom 6 finish next season.
I think Brentford will struggle next season despite a good effort this year.
So many teams with big money behind them now, for all the brilliance of a “Brentford” type strategy it’s still just a matter of when and not if and it’s the same for Leeds IMO.
If you aim for mid table you end up going down Rev.
I think you have to aim for Europe and buy the quality that gives you a chance of that and then by default you tend to at worst stay up with a bit to spare.
Trying to “manage” finishing mid ish table is what got us into such trouble because when we were, we didn’t add to the squad to try and finish in the top 7.
Our owner has stripped what quality we had Rev and there’s no money so we will be in the championship for a long time! To be honest there’s better banter at championship grounds!
We could be playing Harrogate soon so wouldn’t bet against it!
Good luck to you lot though - you were very unlucky with injuries this season!
Burnely blew it and Leeds held their nerve........well done....
Burnley’s only ambition was to finish a place or two above the bottom 3, Leeds at least have a go at teams no matter who they are.
