Serious although academic question about Pride Park

If you'd won this week's £164m lotto prize would you have used (lets say, as its the number knocking around) £22m of that to buy PP? You can bet I would.

    Anyone?

Thats a bit of a tired one tricky, I caused a massive ****storm about a decade ago on one of your forums after convincing enough fools that I'd won the lottery and was intending to buy Forest and turn in into Derby's feeder team

No, I'd set aside 65m to buy the club and the ground, 35m to invest in it and then ban DCFC Army from the ground. Then try to survive as a free standing club not requiring any more capital injections.

The other 64m I could probably survive on.

I might ban rA as well if he gets grumpy that I'm not investing enough money.

Then we'd be back in administration by 2026 probably.

sound plan. In fact you could pretty much guarantee it by installing rA as CFO instead of banning him

Well as pointless statement that can neither be proven I guess its a post on the board. Thought you'd be helping your Russian/Ukrainian/ Uyghur/Scottish/Chinese/Black British acquaintances that you have told us you have so many times!

I genuinely don't get why you've popped up out of nowhere and posted this

What GP said. Take the club out of the "private ownership" muddle. Have it run by fans (mistake, I know) for fans and have it in the deeds that it can't amass huge debt. Every season has to see a believable budget that is stuck to. Should loss be made for whatever reason (pandemic etc) the next budget should include realistic forecasts of how and when the debt would be cleared. Also make sure the fans couldn't sell it off in the future.
