Brilliant result, fantastic achievement for Tam Courts and the whole squad. As Terry said, it hasn't always been pretty but the support have deserved this and all those who travelled today got the result they deserved. Europe here we come!!

A massive well done to all at the club, happy to eat humble pie on my preseason predictions. We have defo benefited from many other teams being below par....but this has definitely put us in a healthy position to build on. Fans have been tremendous throughout. A couple of months now to savour this season before the rollercoaster starts again. Proud to be an arab and FTD always!

Thought i was on a route to disaster today as the stream was playing up with 12 minutes to kick off. The auld ains got their tech sorted out and i then spent the next couple of hours shouting at Shelley fecking Kerr!

Really enjoyed the game and the fans, and some of the football on display was the best ive seen in a while. Blair Spittal was given MotM, and while i saw some of what i liked in the laddie, i think he has found his level. My MotM was hard to pick today, but as ive just watched a piece on Andy Robertson, it is another young defender that i really think has a great future in Ross Graham. Special mention to Liam Smith, Levitt, Watt, Freeman, Meekison and Nicky Clark. On another day, they all get a goal for themselves!

Whilst we've not scored freely this season, that's Nicky Clark into double figures for the season again. He's not everyone's cup of tea but he does a job for us at this level. Well done Nicky!

Could have had a hat trick with chances either side of his goals, and thought Watt had set that up for him near the end!

I think he does well when played in the right position. Like everyone else, delighted with the season’s result, but there is definitely room for improvement as others have also said. Hopefully securing 4th, not only gives us a financial boost, but takes pressure off Tam, to go and express himself next season. However, I’d like to see a more balanced and settled team. This season has seen the team chopped and changed too often, and I know injuries play a part, but just look at the selection against Rangers, compared to the selection against Celtic (if the latter played at Ibrox, I think we would have taken something). We are not a massive team that can “rotate”, we need a core and balanced side, where it’s much easier for others to come in as required or their performances merit, and fit and compliment the team. Big recruitment summer ahead, hope we do well.

Well done United great result today and a special well done to the the magnificent travelling support. 🖤🧡

It’s hasn’t been pretty at times this season, but finishing 4th has far outstripped the expectations I had at the start of the season. There will no doubt be a few players heading out the door and although we have the bases of a decent team. Hopefully there are a few decent signings on the cards.

It's bloody brilliant that we done the business and secured 4th with a fine win away from home. I think that with 2 or 3 astute signings we can push on next season. But the quality we need to even sustain this season's finish needs to be secured.

Europe is great. Give it everything we've got. But we will have to make sure our league form doesn't suffer because that is the absolute priority.

Well done to the travelling support. In all my years following United home and away through the halcyon era of the 70s & 80s, I don't think I've seen an away support as brilliant as we have had following us away from home this season. Fantastic stuff, young and old, Shedboys and Shedgirls backing the team to the hilt.

    Absolutely chuffed tonight.
