I din't know what personal problems Wilkes had, but it makes me wonder why and how it worked out better for him at Hull ?.

Because Grant McCann had him at Donny Rovers on loan from Leeds so knew how to handle him at Hull City .

To be fair I think a lot of the problem with Wilkes is that he is a top player in division one & struggles in the championship thus affecting his confidence , he was great at Donny hence why we went for him & then struggled with us after a bright start & did not get treated fairly by us , he then went to Hull where he did really well but since Hull returned to the championship he has gone down hill again , incidentally I really liked the lad & was gutted when we sent him out & then sold him as I thought there is a decent player inside him, he would be ideal for us in league one next season , a potential match winner at this level .
