Joey Allen is at the end of his contract at Stoke and he wants to come home. At 32 he’s getting on a bit and against our policy of buy young, develop and sell on. Would the owners be prepared to pay his wages. If he does come it would be at drastically reduced wages. Martin is on record as saying he would like him in our team so let’s go for it.

Are we going for MK Dons centre-back Harry Darling this time around after they turned down a bid from us last January.
They’ve just lost out in the play-offs so will stay in L1 next season.
With a high turnover of players expected this Window, can we generate enough cash and free up wages to go for the new players needed to implement Martin’s style of play.

The Transfer Window opens on 10th June and closes on 1st Sept, so a frustratingly long time before we see any action.
The season starts early on 30th July because of the World Cup Break in mid-season.

Another MK Dons player, attacking midfielder Scott Twine, would be a great addition for us, but probably out of our price range.
He’s scored 20 goals this season with 13 assists, some record for a midfielder!

A boring period coming up with no Swans football to watch.
Here’s a surprising bit of information that I read -
Swans paid a whopping £1,617,579 in agents fees between Feb 2021 and Jan 2022, that’s a lot of money.
Players agents must be rubbing their hands with glee when the Transfer windows open.

What might have been for the Swans, as our runaway head-coach Steve Cooper reaches his third consecutive Play-Offs, latest with Forest, who were bottom of the table when he took over. He’s got them playing attractive attacking football as well.
With a year still left on his contract I’m sure our American owners scared him away with their disinterest in our club, their lack of ambition and lack of investment.

Hello boys, summer is here and it’s holiday time.
Here’s another player linked with us, 26 year-old right winger Marcus Harness at League 1 Portsmouth. They’ve just triggered a one year extension to his contract so he would command a fee.
Portsmouth are interested in our striker Kyle Joseph so there could be a deal in the making.

Forest through to the promotion play-off final after a penalty shoot out. Well done Steve Cooper, that could have been us if he’d stayed, shame.
