⚽ Match Thread vs. Maidenhead United 15.05.22 [NL]

The last league game of the season sees the Magpies travel to Maidenhead needing a point to guarantee 5th place and a home play-off eliminator. However, if Grimsby win and Notts lose, it would come down to the swing in goal difference and perhaps much nail biting.

Team news is due around 2:00pm and BBC Radio Nottingham commentary on all the usual channels including here.

(I won't be free to post the team graphic on the thread today so if someone can do so at 2:00 that would be much appreciated!)

One eye on the NL North play off semi-final as well this afternoon. I hope Boston win, then we'd have a decent fixture against either them or York (should we not go up). If Fylde win this afternoon it probably will be them coming up as they would be at home in the final - no neutral venues at that level.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Ebbsfleet return from the NL South, a club somewhat hard done by two years ago when they finished above Maidenhead until the PPG rule switched their position and relegated them, though had Macc Town not gone bust, they would have gone anyway.

Well it’s pissi*g down in Maidenhead. But the Craufurd Arms is dry with plenty of good ales. Homemade sausage roll on the way. Spurs Burnley on the big screen not a bad watch either.

Chicksen left out "as a precaution". Has he picked up an injury?

    Isn't that an oxymoron

Joel Taylor doesn't seem very high on the trust list at the moment. Kelly-Evans seems to have pushed him into being third choice left-wing-back.

Good luck you Stylish Pies from Brooklyn, NY.

Will be out and about exploring the borough but naturally checking the score whenever we have WiFi.
