Thread: Brucie’s big WBA rebuild

We have not one decent player in that position and we need a new captain who is consistently good, rallies the troops and does not get pathetic red cards due to mistimed tackles.
Keep on hoping Al, we might get Swift or Wallace but I fear the rest will be Brucie’s over 30 bargains

Either of those would be a super addition and exactly what we need.

Steve Bruce = good honest bloke ... but c*** football manager. We can all see the area we need to strengthen is central midfield ... but not heard any rumblings if movement yet. Livermore and Molumby (or Mowatt) as a central midfield pairing will take us nowhere in the Champ next season. As for Reach ... squad player at best. Signing Button, Palmer, OShea and Ajayi on longer term is a reasonable move though ...

According to the E&S Bruce is trying to get Hamza Choudhury into the club, please, please let that deal fall through. We need young up and coming players not other club’s has beens looking for an easy payout. He also wants another right back, why? What we need are replacements for Grant, Diangana and Robinson.

Whatever you think of him as a player calling him a has been at the age of 24's a bit of a stretch 😊 .

I can't agree we want to replace Grant. I think he and Dike will be a great pairing nest season.

    Hamza Choudhury FFS.

Is he the one with the eyepatch and the hook for an arm?

I think that Grant is lazy, there were many games when you wouldn’t have known that he was on the pitch.

Grimsby have been promoted back into the EFL, they might have a few player's out of contract or some unable to get in their side.
    Hope springs eternal.
