Thread: Rapha

    Rapha

Sure has tried the last few months - clearly looks frustrated at times that there isn’t complementary quality surrounding him.

He gave us so many memories and wish him well in his new adventure - scored some crucial goals this season too without which we would be gone

We had some chance to make a profit and even fd that up now we get some cream.
He still tries but since that brazil game has not been the same. The brilliance just isn't there and proof of that is hasn't scored for like what 14 games?

Saw a artlicle that Barca had offered 55 Million for him with some performance clauses maybe pushing that to 65 million.

Call him in and advise his you took the offer (it's his dream team) and ask him to leave it all on the field Sunday. Go out as a hero. I think he's the type that would run through a fire to show his appreciation on the move.

    Everyone wins.

PS- tidy bit of business on Barca's part. they could have waited and gotten him for 25 million if relegated but could end up in a bidding battle with some big money teams. Locking in at that level shows how much he's wanted by them but is still not stupid money compared to some of the money floating around out there.

things don't normally bounce this smoothly for us but it's nice to hope.

He got the first against Watford Oz - pretty spectacular effort too 👍

No doubt he has done amazing things but (and here I show may age) can you imagine this kind of "where will be be next season" conversation just wouldn't happen until (at least), the season was over.

True but remember back then the internet, email, mobile phones were either not a thing or widely available and things happened more slowly. His agent is just doing his job no matter how much we dislike it.

Similarly, if Barca are going in early and speaking to Leeds smacks of careful planning.

Agents = parasitic sh1ts with little or no value to football, only their own (not their clients) bank balances

Not all agents - Michael Kennedy was very good and had footballers interests at heart - ask Robbie Fowler, Bryan Robson etc.

Hayden Evans is pretty good too.

Fowler, Robson, decades ago, no longer the case, no sense of player development, only what generates maximum fees in minimum time (and with minimum effort on agents behalf)

Hayden Evans is current - acts for Cresswell - Haalands agent carefully helped choose where he went.
