    Billy Sharp assault

    Despicable cowardly act!

Billy’s merely applauding the Sheff Utd players off the pitch when this scumbag runs at him and smashes him in the face knocking him to the ground.

Billy ended up having stitches to the wound.

Thankfully the scum has been arrested. Jail the scum!

I would ban him and make him fight Billy Sharp fairly without blindsiding him and see how he gets on.

It’s not good but no where near the 70s.

Much anger from the Manager who struck an opponent with the ball.

Jocks, yes a strange one that. Thought he’d get a red but the player didn’t make a big thing of it. Totally unprofessional but it was the play offs so I suppose the moment got the better of him. He did apologise later for his actions though.

Yes it was a strange one that jocks, and if the forest player, Spence, had retaliated then I dread to think of the commotion that would have started, but fortunately and good on him, he just laughed it off. UTM

They’ve arrested him, he will be banned for life plus whatever else might be thrown at him

Hecky should’ve definitely seen a red for that, yes tensions are high but that was well out of order, maybe he’ll get a fine and a touch line ban for first game back, the message needs to be clear imo

When incidents like this happen, all the media outlets and the virtue signallers on social media bang on about it being disgusting, cowardly, out of order, reprehensible, blah, blah, blah but the reality is that what right minded, intelligent person would think that what the guy in the yellow top did was a good thing to do? Incidents of violence like that are happening all over the country every weekend. The issue of pitch invasions was something I brought up in a post several months ago. During the earlier parts of the season any lone invader is swiftly dealt with ,charged and banned and told in no uncertain terms that it is an illegal act. However during the promotion and play-off carnage, invaders in their thousands are simply left to do what they like and walk away 'Scot Free',even though the same laws have been transgressed. If you cannot enforce a law fairly and consistently ,don't have it!
