    I thought I heard or read that Salford was moving to a new ground next season,clearly not if the friendly is there.might be the season after then.

    Apart from the Parkgate fixture (which come around every year, abit like xmas) Harrogate, Salford, Mansfield, and Donny WOW how exciting, no disrespect to them 4 efl clubs but FFS.

    So if we got someone like Liverpool or Man City and charged 30,40,50 quid a ticket would you go Archie knowing it was only a pre-season friendly? These days it's more about rotating the players, seeing how they perform together and what their fitness levels are like rather than an exhibition to the fans. Don't forget, to our opponents these fixtures 'might' look attractive, not all teams can find opponents above their level and PW might not want to tip his hand against teams we will be facing in the regular season.

    That's a good point. Wouldn't want Liverpool and Man City sussing us out too early
