I like Mings but not his mistakes and I'm sure with the Toons zillions, I would think they are aiming higher than Mings. We need a World Class defender to play along side him, midfielder and a striker.

I dont think so dave. Yes they have lots of money but i remember when city were in the same position after having new mega rich owners. They had to buy the likes of Lescott and Sean wright phillips to start with. They aren't in Europe and will struggle to attract too stars yet. It took a couple of seasons to get the likes of Tevez etc.
Were were in a similar boat when we got promoted. We improved our squad but didnt buy anyone top quality. Just good enough to prevent relegation.
Now is the time to buy top class players like we just have with Cortinho. I think were arguably a better position to attract them compared to Newcastle this summer.
