Discarding the Bolton and Shrewsbury games a 'juicy', 29 of the 58 games the top 10 teams have left are against another top 10 team so AT LEAST between 87 and 116 points will be dropped by the top 10 between now and April 30th. Compare that to the fact that the top 10 have only dropped 55 points in their last 50 games and it shows that there's finally going to be a slow down in the points race.

Thanks ELK for that list. As CAMiller's pointed out there's some really "juicy" matches coming up and reading through the list it's made me realise that we're still in with a fantastic chance of not only getting promotion, but to actually win the title after a lot of fans (including me) thought that we'd blown our chance. It's all to play for and we must still be one of, if not THE favourite to come out on top. If we can just get our finger back on the pulse then it's ours to lose. Come on you Millers get that early season form going again, you can do it guys. xxxxxxx

    Another fine ELK compilation

There is though one factor that needs to be considered when interpreting the list

As the season reaches a conclusion there comes a point where teams realise they can’t realistically reach the two automatic places and want to cement their place in the playoff spots. Also some in the playoffs realise that they can’t drop out of the playoff places and start to think about resting key players or play games in a manner that doesn’t risk injuries or bookings.

So you get unexpected draws or teams lower in the league getting surprise points against higher placed teams

Thanks for that ELK.After looking at all these remaining games I would say Wigan have the slightly easier run in but they have to play five of them away from home.Plus they are now top dog and there to be shot down like we have been over the last couple of months. It's going to be a nailbiter but if we get back on track, we have the players to get us over the line.

Great list ELK and it looks as though none of the top teams have an easy run in.

I'd add that MK Dons have another juicy fixture in Wimbledon away. Wimbledon may be down at the bottom but the fierce rivalry there will take it to a different level. If Wimbledon can help their survival with a performance against their hated franchise cousins then that would be a double bonus for them. It'll be a double bonus for us too if we do the business against Charlton on the same day.

Much of this and many of these games are an irrelevance. Only Wigan and MKD matter. To finish 1st or 2nd we have to win 5 games. In my view No Way. A last minute deflected strike to secure extra-time does not obscure the fact that for 90 minutes in that game, in the semi-final and in the last 6 or 7 league games we have been really poor. I doubt we'll get more than 8 more points - 6 or 7 too few.

Wendun, Deflected strike? You mean a well taken powerful shot direct at the net that the keeper could only attempt to stop with his arm?

Agreed we weren't at the races throughout the first 90 however, you fail to go on and mention how we dominated extra time?

    Have faith, we'll do it.

There’s no real easy run ins though is there? We’ve proved that many times

Just worry about our game nothing we can do about the other teams.
