    Do they work ?

"Well I never! Nicola Sturgeon reported last night that she had a mild case of Covid. That’s nothing short of incredible, given her fanatical devotion to mask-wearing and the fact that she’s been triple-jabbed."

If I didn’t know better, I would be tempted to conclude that masks and vaccines don’t actually stop you getting Covid.

I think masks do make a difference. The incidence of other respiratory diseases, like flu, declined when masks were compulsory.

The vaccines do not stop people getting Covid and are a health risk. I have read reports indicating that they weaken the immune system. You are now more likely to get Covid if you are vaccinated than not. There are many, many cases of vaccinated people contracting the illness.

It's the risk of blood clots that worried me into not being vaccinated, and it looks like I was right (as usual!)

No need to guess, a live trial was run in the UK last year, in July England dropped the mask mandate, in Scotland they didn't, for the rest of the year there was no noticeable difference in the incidence of Covid amongst the masked Scots north of the border and the unmasked English south of the border. The Scots did not have a better outcome, wearing masks made no difference.

There's a classic example of the utter absurdity of the mask pantomime here. It shows Joe Biden arriving in South Korea, he descends the steps from Airforce One fully masked and in splendid isolation, as he approaches the South Korean dignitaries to shake hands, he takes his mask off.

I'll give the old fraud his due, he obviously knows masks are simply for grandstanding, and won't stop you catching Covid. Or he wouldn't have taken it off would he ?

I'm not at all sure he really knows just what he is doing mon ami. The Yanks are mostly up in arms about his Presidency.
