Nice job Mr M-V aka Orgoner.
PL Dash 2021/2022 - Results of fixtures of 22/5/21.
The following set of fixtures was the PL Dash, the final matches of the "regular" PL competition and a stand-alone competition for a trophy (and a kit history book) in its own right.
Anyone who had taken part in the PL at any point this season was eligible to enter through predicting the scorelines for:
(P) Arsenal v Everton (5-1)
(P) Brentford v Leeds United (1-2)
(P) Brighton & Hove Albion v West Ham United (3-1)
(P) Burnley v Newcastle United (1-2)
(P) Chelsea v Watford (2-1)
(P) Crystal Palace v Manchester United (1-0)
(P) Leicester City v Southampton (4-1)
(P) Liverpool v Wolverhampton Wanderers (3-1)
(P) Manchester City v Aston Villa (3-2)
(P) Norwich City v Tottenham Hotspur (0-5)
The rules:
In the event of a tie for first place, the eventual Dash winner will be determined to be (in order) the poster with
1) The most correct outcomes
followed by
2) The closest to the total number of goals scored
followed by
3) The earliest to post (based on their last valid posting)
So, here are the results:
Table is in format:- poster/points scored/number of correct outcomes/predicted number of goals/time of posting

There were sixty points up for grabs from the final ten Premier League games and, with PL title, european and relegation spots all hanging in the balance, this was one of the more interesting set of end of season fixtures in recent memory.
Not a problem for Hgatenasty (OEOOOOOEOO), who scored a magnificent 36 points using all ten fixtures, including the exact scorelines at whatever the son of Griffin Park is now called (yay!) and Anfield. He came close to winning last season too, so he definitely has sprinting form!
For the "official" second place, there was initially a tie between Hopelesslyoptimistic (EOxOOOxEOO) and Lufcjohn88 (OExOOxOEOO), who both scored 30 points.
Their final Dash rankings were determined by:
1) The most correct outcomes
Hopey (six outcomes, two exact). John (six outcomes, two exact).
No decision, so...
2) The closest to the total number of goals scored
Hopey (41 goals). John (35 goals).
39 goals were scored, so Hopey sneaks the second Dash place over John. For what it's worth. Which is diddly. Soz!
Hgatenasty is the official PL 2021/2022 Dash winner
Assuming I can get a shipping address out of him (I'll send a PM, mate!), Nasty will be receiving a trophy (and kit book) in the post in the near(ish) future.
Many thanks to those of you who took the time to bother to enter and, assuming my brain isn't eaten away by a combination of COVID or Monkey pox during the summer, the 20th version of the PL competition (with the corresponding Dash at the end) should start again later this year!
All the best! Stay safe!
Nice job Mr M-V aka Orgoner.
