So I think we can say that we've gone backwards for the 4th season in a row. 5th the same as last season, more points, but out in the Play Off QFs this time. That has to count as the worst season yet if we've ended up further away from the ultimate prize.

If Notts have an average start next season it's not going to be pretty. Can't imagine fans having much patience for another unknown face in the dug out either.

It's a mental strength and nous thing - that's mostly on the players

We seriously need to look at player and manager recruitment and also playing style.

One week Forest v Man City/Liverpool etc
The week after Notts v Maidenhead/Gateshead etc.

Nothing to do with the fact that they played us off the park for most of the evening.

Well they did but we defended well until he pushed him in the back.

In truth, Grimsby deserved it more than we did. We looked like rabbits in the headlights all the way thru the game and never got going. Take that job willya Burchy cos you ain't improved us one jot.

Grimsby were indeed a bit better. But if you are strong enough you can overcome. We, however, are paper tigers.
