    Tarks to the Villa ?

Just said on Sky that Tarkowski’s representatives are in discussions with the Villa. Just the sort of player Gerrard needs to bolster his defence. Would be a good fit from both sides. From one claret and blue to another.

Wish him well.Great player-often kept us in matches. His long passing is not perfect but good solid CB.I actually think Collins is worth more simply because of his age.

We should have sold him 18 months ago. Usual pi$$ poor management which has lost us £20 million.

I think that was Dyche though BT and the directors backed him because didn’t want to lose him at the time.

The owners are in charge of the finances, not the manager. Tarko wanted to leave, we needed the money, if indeed Dyche did want to keep him he should have been told, we're selling him and you can have some of the proceeds for a replacement. Now we have the worst of both worlds, Tarko gone for nothing AND we're relegated. I wouldn't trust this lot to run a piss up in a brewery.

I think the thought at the time was losing £20 million was worth it if it/he keeps us up.

He didn't though k-c. We should have sold him.

I would have done, but then again k_c, I know what I'm doing.
