    Villa - WOW

fair play to Aston Villa for moving quickly in the transfer market, I have no issue with whoever they sign

BUT their fans WOW - what a bunch of people they are, instantly jumping on the "lets all laugh at Newcastle" bandwaggon

again just like they did when we went down

they signed Coutinho for 18m and wages of 200k a week

they signed Kamara on a free transfer on wages of 170k a week

they have paid 28m for Carlos with add ons taking it to 50m and similar wages to Kamara- Sevilla are laughing

that is some financial gamble right there

I'm not convinced by Gerrard to be honest and they really need to finish top 7 this coming season and get into Europe

otherwise its going to be catastrophic financially. All eggs in 1 basket

Will Carlos really cost them £50 million with add-ons? That's mental given that he'll be 30 next season and has never played in the Prem

I think Villa will probably do an Everton and splash loads of cash hoping to get into Europe but fall short

Can sign all the players in the world on big money but the manager has to be right. I just don't rate Gerard. Look at Man Utd. Signed any amount on big money and they're shìte. Nobody can convince me though that Fergie wouldn't have had that group of players higher up that league.

Anyone wanting to laugh at us over spending can fill their lungs as far as I’m concerned. We can outspend anyone on any player and I’m delighted we’re nor splashing the cash willy nilly like Everton have done (look where it got them).
Howe seems focused and will know exactly who/what he needs. I trust the club to action his requests emphatically.

Guys, guys, calm down. No one at Villa park is lau8ghing at Newcastle, if anything we are all waiting for you to make the moves and splash the cash and become a force that will break this very predictable league. I have always said Villa and Newcastle one two in the league would be brilliant. On the funds for Carlos, who cares, it's not my money and it's nothing to our owners! Both teams are on the up and I honestly wish the toon fans all the best for next season, let's see a Villa v Newcastle FA Cup Final.

I'd take that. . . with Toon lifting the Cup
